The Nethereal 10th Anniversary Special Edition campaign is our most successful crowdfunder to date!
We not only hit our goal; we obliterated it.
Here’s the final tally:
First-day funding: $2,287—a new record
Final total: $10,658—another record
Average pledge: $95—our highest yet.
Now here’s the kicker: We did all that with 33 percent fewer backers than our previous campaign; all while grappling with credit card processing issues beyond our control.
What we’re seeing is a consolidation of the audience: A dedicated core of readers showed up, followed through, and invested in work that delivers the fun they want. It’s humbling to see in quantifiable terms how much you guys care.
And a close second to that win is the market data that proves demand for premium editions. So you can look forward to more anniversary releases of other titles with new jacketed hardcovers, improved layouts, and color interior art.
What’s more, we proved that independent adventure fiction grounded in the pulp tradition has a bright future, even in these uncertain times.
