Today, we remember those who have worn the uniform; who stood in the breach, kept the watch, and paid the price that we might live.
Veterans Day still transcends vague greeting card sentiment or flag-waving for its own sake. It’s an expression of gratitude grounded in action, and the quiet recognition that courage often goes unsung, and duty is discharged without applause.
Every veteran’s story is a reminder that sacrifice is not an abstraction. It is, all too often, the cost of faithfulness to comrades, to family, to country, and to the Almighty. So take a moment to thank those who served.
